Bring the World to Your Classroom with an Author Visit from Cynthia Anne Finefrock

Cynthia’s author visit is a perfect addition to International Week, Read Across America Week or as a fun, educational complement to your curriculum on world cultures and geography. As a former educator and childcare professional, Cynthia brings warmth, energy, and a deep understanding of how to connect with young learners—ensuring an experience that is both engaging and enriching.

Designed for grades K–4, each 30-minute session includes:

  • Introduction – A lively and engaging welcome to spark curiosity.

  • The Writing Journey – A peek behind the scenes into how the Winston the Traveling Dog series was created, using real travel photographs instead of traditional illustrations.

  • Reading Session – A captivating storytime featuring one of Winston’s global adventures.

  • Q&A Session – An interactive time for students to ask questions and share thoughts.

Preschool/PreK sessions are also available! These are 15-minute visits with a shorter format designed just for younger attention spans.

Whether you're looking to inspire budding writers or expand your students' understanding of the world, this unique visit is sure to leave a lasting impression.

Sessions can accommodate up to 200 students. Rates vary depending on the number of sessions scheduled.
